It is with heavy heart that I come to write this letter, I say this because you all made it possible for Mum to remain in her own home until the end, it was her greatest wish as she aged. You have been a very remarkable team. You cherished her as a person, allowing her to still fell in control of her life as a person. Mum was a sparky and bright lady, she had opinions, values, interests and friendships. Each of you shared these with her in an individual and different way. She came (with time) to accept the need for care and eventually saw your visits as something to brighten her days. It was the sensitive way you developed these relationships that she learnt to trust you all and accept her dependence upon you. As a family we cannot thank you enough for sharing the sad burden through both day and night. We truly could not have managed it without the tremendous support. Thank you for being there for us and Mum.

We offer a comprehensive range of services personalised to the needs of our service users. We provide a flexible responsive, caring service and strive to build long-term relationships with our Service Users and other working professionals. We know the solid foundation to success is to build quality.

Looking at the options for care funding can be a daunting and complex experience. Care and support services are means-tested, not free to everyone & some people have to pay all of the costs. There are several options for funding care. LPC undertake care from service users with local authority funding.

We have a rigorous and selective recruitment programme to help us evaluate the individual who applies to work at LPC, as well as finding out about their qualifications and skills. The right attitude and compassion for the job is vital for us in securing the right team. DBS checks and references will be obtained.
